Calm Confidence™

I ordered this for my yorkie who has separation anxiety and it seems to have made a difference in his demeanor when left alone for short periods. He is a very picky eater so I will say with 100% certainty that this tastes good because he does not know it is in his food and he can sense a vitamin or a pill a mile away. I've been giving my dog a different supplement with ashwaganda for quite some time. So, I know it is effective, but it has been costly with the other brand. When I came across Cesar's product I wanted to give it a try and compare. The ingredients are great and beneficial. You get a lot of product for the price, which makes this more affordable, per dose, than what I had been buying. The quality seems equally as good. Administering the dosage is simple, I just mix it into their fresh food. The fine powder mixes well and the dogs haven't rejected their meals, so they must either enjoy the taste or not notice it. I will be purchasing this product, going forward, instead of what I had been buying. I'm pleased with the results for my large dog.

I have two senior dogs, so I picked up the Cesar Millan Better Dog Cognitive Supplement Powder (Calm Confidence)to support their focus and overall cognitive health. I really like Cesar, try to only use supplements made in the US, and am giving this to my 8 year old dog. She's super sweet, but very timid and loses focus on things I'd like her to focus on when training. She gets jittery/scared VERY easily. The Jar and scoop are tiny. Recommended amount for my 30 lb dog is one scoop. So far this has lasted over a month.

Here's what I've noticed, this isn't a sedative-type supplement. She still has energy after a dose but does seem less bothered by environmental stresses. Thunder and fireworks still frighten her when taking this, but other noises seem to cause her less anxiety. I don't think my girl needs this everyday, just when I can anticipate her being exposed to loud noises or scary (to her) situations. It has not casued any tummy upset or other ill effects and she is sensitive to food changes. I think it's worth it to take the edge off and make her feel a little more calm.

I’ve been using this supplement as a topper on Gordis’s dinner, and the biggest win so far is that she actually enjoys it. She’s a very picky eater, so the fact that she licks the bowl clean is already a success. The powder blends easily with her food and has a pleasant aroma that seems to appeal to her. While I haven’t noticed major changes yet in energy or focus, I appreciate that it’s made with natural ingredients like ashwagandha and ginseng. For me, the taste approval alone makes this product worth trying—especially for dogs who usually turn their nose up at supplements.
